Editorial Policy
Principles for transparent, sourced and accountable financial journalism.
Accuracy before speed
For a news item to publish, editors must verify primary documents, confirm event dates and time zones, distinguish reported facts from analysis, and check any market figures against authorized data providers. Unsourced reports remain drafts.
Editorial workflow
Our content statuses are Draft, In review, Fact checked, Approved, Published and Archived. Only Approved or Published items may be built into the public archive. An editor is responsible for any move into a public status; this project currently lacks an assigned human approval process.
Separation of content types
News, technical analysis, education and opinion use separate categories and templates. We never fabricate experience or performance. Quotes are attributed, sources are visible and related context is linked where useful.
Independence
Advertising cannot buy positive coverage. Broker scores are withheld until documented testing, verified legal entities, fair comparison criteria and disclosure of conflicts exist. We do not publish paid placements as independent reporting.
Editorial accountability
Named individual journalists, their credentials, conflicts and contact information must be added once verified. Until then, the visible institutional byline is expressly not a claim of individual human expertise.
