Corrections Policy
How factual errors, material updates and clarifications will be handled.
Corrections process
A substantiated error must be evaluated against the underlying source and corrected without silently changing the meaning of the article. Material changes should append a dated description of what was wrong and what changed.
Updates are not corrections
Adding newly available information should show an updated timestamp. If the prior claim was incorrect or misleading, the item requires a correction note rather than a routine update label.
Submitting an issue
The public correction channel must be configured with a real monitored mailbox before launch. When reporting an issue, include the page URL, exact passage and a primary-source reference. We do not currently accept corrections through an unmonitored form.
